I have been looking for a truck or suburban for a month now having viewed over 1000 and several that I called about that were sold or wrecked. I stumbled onto lonestar car and truck - Jocque. After speaking with him I became more interested in the vehicle I new this was the one but I did not want to make a bad decision so I waited a few days and thought if it was still available after two days that I would buy it. I sold my Jeep Wrangler 11 years ago to pay for my wedding. Several moves, 2 kids and a lot of other stuff later, I was finally ready for my replacement Jeep. After searching for months and leaing "excellent condition" can be open to interpretation, I was lucky enough to stumble upon Joc and Lone Star. He was completely laid back about the test drive, open to a fair negotiation and an all-around pleasure to deal with. After a few days driving the Jeep, I had a slight problem that a local shop diagnosed as an expensive fix. Answered all questions and request including providing additional photos and background on the vehicle. Was very accommodating when I requested to take the truck to another shop for a detailed inspection and was even able to recommend one near by that specialized in diesel off road vehicles. Price was reasonable and purchasing process was a breeze. Even offered to pick me up if I needed help getting truck home. Overall buying experience was excellent.

One of the best buying experiences ever! I purchased my first truck ever from Lonestar Car & Truck. I purchased a 2006 Chevy LT 4x4 and it was simple. I was treated like I was worth a million bucks. As I'm driving, my wife is typing this. We're finishing off a 10-hour drive back to the Big Bend. If you're reading this it's because God has led you to Jocque. One week ago I lost the truck I thought I always wanted. I started searching the inteet hoping I could find my second best option. Instead, I found what I thought was the truck of my dreams and too good to be true. It was a Saturday evening, 6 o'clock, when I contacted Jocque. What he told me about the truck seemed honest and forthright. It just felt right! In today's world, it's hard to find people with your best interest at heart, who are of character and keep their word. After one week, I was finally able to make it to Lonestar Car and Truck on Thursday (May 12) at 6 pm. Jocque was waiting with the vehicle outside and as I drove from a block away my heart drowned in joy because I knew that my dream was coming true and that God had put an angel on this earth to make it possible. The vehicle was gorgeous and there were people outside admiring it and trying to persuade Jocque to sell it to them. As we completed the paperwork during the sale, there were people calling to try and buy my truck.
